The Human Rights Organization in Afrin: The elements of armed militias loyal to Turkish occupation forces, the “Free Syrian National Army,” kidnap Kurdish citizens indiscriminately, for the purpose of material extortion and fighting them with a livelihood. And thus the emergence of their truth before the world public opinion that they are nothing but a group of thieves and thugs.
1 – Al-Waqqas militia members who are controlling the village of Hekije of Jenderes town, accompanied by Turkish intelligence agents, on Wednesday 28/04/2021 kidnapped a number of the villagers and took them to the security headquarters, for the purpose of material extortion and ransom collection, their names are :
1 – Abdin Hassan Ibrahim
2 – Khalil Saeed Arab
3 – Farhan Hassan Ibrahim
The three citizens were released after each of them was forced to pay a ransom of 5,000 Turkish liras.
2 – The Hamzat militia, who control the town of Basouta, at dawn on Thursday April 22, 2021, also kidnapped the young Khalil Muhammad Omar, 29, on charges of dealing with the former de facto authority and taking him to the security headquarters, and he was later released, after he was forced to pay a ransom.
3- Members of the Hamzat militia controlling the village of Burj Abdalo, Last week, detained a number of the villagers for hours and then released them and gave them a grace period to secure the amount of the ransom that was imposed on them, otherwise they will be kidnapped on false pretenses, and they are:
