The Turkish occupation and armed militias create chaos and terrorize the Kurds in their control places

The Human Rights Organization in Afrin: Activists reported that Turkish occupation forces, accompanied by the armed militias loyal to them, sought to create chaos and security chaos in the Kurdish areas under their control and spread terror and intimidation among the Kurdish people, by unleashing their hands and directing them to carry out indiscriminate kidnappings, theft, looting and plunder, and to facilitate methods of causing terrorist bombings and preventing the so-called “security forces” from investigating, following up and pursuing terrorists.

Activists added that the village of Cholaqa has been witnessing, two days ago, suspicious military movements related to inter-differences between the elements of the al-Hamzat militia who control the lower part of the village, and the members of the Ahrar al-Sham militia who control the upper part, and the establishment of checkpoints and searches of passers-by without explaining the reasons, and we have mentioned in the previous documentation the occurrence of armed clashes between the two parties and the explosion of the weapons depot in the village as a result of the struggle over the stolen goods and the looting and theft from the homes of the indigenous Kurds, in front of the Turkish forces’ eyes without interfering and deterring inhuman and banditry acts and practices.

The activists also added that Turkish intelligence and military police in Mabata town, on Thursday 28/01/2021, kidnapped a number of Kurdish citizens from the village of Shorba of Mabata town, on charges of dealing with the previous administration and compulsory service for one of them, for the purpose of material extortion and collecting ransom, then, they were taken to the town center, and their fate remains unknown until now, their names are :

1- Hussein Ma’mo, 70 years old.
2 – Ali Omar, 63 years old.
3- Siyamand Ja’far, 30 years old.
4- Rebar Ja’far, 20 years old.

Despite the passage of three years of the Turkish ocupation the Afrin region and its town and villages, the creative and overwhelming chaos has become almost daily, and the kidnapping processes of Kurdish civilians continue.
