Slavery and the imposition of royalty are among the decisions of the leaders of the Free Syrian Army

The Human Rights Organization in Afrin: One of the tasks of the leaders of armed groups and factions in Afrin should be to provide security and stability in the so-called liberated areas and protect citizens from thieves and bandits.

We previously discussed in a report, on 10/04/2020, about the suffering of the indigenous Kurds in the village of Zarka of Rajo town, as a result of the inhumane actions and practices of the so-called Muhammad Haboub, known as Abu Al-Walid, the leader of the so-called Majd militia, “the Free Syrian National Army.” Which is described as the impudent thief.

According to our sources that recently the so-called Haboub gathered the people of the village and forced them to work in the seized lands without the pay as “slaves” and those who could not work, he imposed money on them for that, noting that in the past he used to bring workers from the camps and paid them, and also his previous practices:

1-Searching the phones of the villagers during Newroz Day, 2020 and imposing a cash fine of 500 US dollars on the citizen Ali Ahmed Sheikh and kidnapping him under the pretext of greeting his brother.

2-Theft of a number of livestock belonging to the settlers and grazing them in the fields of the villagers and threatening them if they file a complaint against him before the concerned.

3-During the past year, he imposed the royalty on the indigenous Kurdish population an amount of 3,000 Syrian pounds per month under the pretext of protecting them from thieves and armed men in other militias and bandits, during the olive season, every family was required to give by force three oil tanks.
