Human Rights Organization in Afrin: An informed sources reported the Human Rights Organization in Afrin that the elements of the Hamzat militia, who are controlling the village of Haj Khalil of Rajo town, on Sunday 11/04/2021, kidnapped the Kurdish citizen Awni Rashid Othman from the village residents on charges of dealing with the previous administration and taking him to the headquarters security forces in the town center for the purpose of material extortion and collecting ransom for his release.
During the past two days, on 12/4/2021, we discussed the issue of the spread of the Coronavirus among the members of the local council in Rajo town and the loss of the life of citizen Hussein Brim, nicknamed Abu Azad, and the infection of six members, including:
1 Mr. Muhammad Nazhmi Hamke, deputy head of the local council, and his wife Dilshan Rasoul.
2 – Hussein Ali Omar and members of his family.
3 – Mustafa Bakr Na’asan.
4- Rezan Ali, from the village of Hassan.
5 – Muhammad Anwar Khalil.
The toll rose to the injury of two other members, “as a result of not adhering to the necessary health measures to prevent gatherings, especially by the newly appointed head of the local council,” and they are:
1 – Engineer Muhammad Sheikh Ahmed
2 – Hussein Mustafa.
