The Human Rights Organization in Afrin: The families of the kidnapped children in the Shahba area began their conversation with this phrase, saying: We “prefer the die on the land of fathers and grandfathers”.
Activists reported the Human Rights Organization in Afrin that kidnappings are continuing in both Afrin and Shahba area, and all other Kurdish areas under the control of both sides (the Turkish occupation forces and the armed militias loyal to them – the Popular’s Protection Forces (YPG) and the auxiliary forces loyal to the Syrian regime, the Afrin Liberation Forces), despite the difference. The two sides in the media meet the same goals and projects, namely the elimination of the Kurds, their cause and freedom, and the denial of their legitimate national rights.
They added that an Afrin Kurdish family consists of the parents and four children (Yahya Najeeb Muhammad, his wife, and four children, from Chaqmaq Kabir of Rajo town Rajo, appealed human rights and humanitarian organizations put pressure on the de-facto authority represented by the PYD Administration and expose its inhuman practices by violating international laws and covenants that it committed itself to before international bodies and committees, by recovering its young son after he was kidnapped by a group of the YPG. There are three boys, their names are as follows: Muhammad Yahya Muhammad, nicknamed Khamgin Chiya, 20 years old (born in 2001) was kidnapped in 2015 in the Afrin region and he was put like other children in ideological courses and military training in the town center (14 years old during the kidnapping). He participated in several fights and he wounded two times in the leg, and he is still suffering from an injury in one of the military headquarters in the Shahba area or in the villages of Sherawa, and Awaz Yahya Muhammad, 18 years old (born in 2003), was forced to join the ranks of the Popular Protection Forces (YPG) during the year 2019 due to poverty, destitution, the father’s inability to secure a living, poor economic conditions and widespread unemployment in the Shahba area, with a monthly salary equivalent to approximately $ 100, but now he receives a salary of 400 thousand Syrian pounds, and they are also preventing them from returning to the Afrin area or going to Aleppo, which costs up to 70 thousand Syrian pounds through smuggling routes, and a group of YPG members led by Akef, on Wednesday 03/03/2021, kidnapped the 14-year-old Youssef Yahya Muhammad (born 2007) and took him to the military headquarters in the village of Tal Sosin, near Ahdath prison and Sardam camp, and subjected him to a Political and ideological session, and despite the father’s demand for his young son, he receives threats and intimidation from the so-called Akef, where the called Akef lures the children into buying what they want and then recruiting them into the Popular Protection Forces YPG.
1-Activists reported the Human Rights Organization in Afrin that a military group of the People’s Protection Forces (YPG) led by a person called Akef, on Thursday 01/04/2021, kidnapped the 11-year-old child Hussein Mustafa Qadib Alban, 11 years old (born 2010) from Afrin city, and took him to the military headquarters in the village of Tal Sosin, adjacent to the Juvenile Prison previously, the Sardam camp, subjecting it to a political ideological cycle, and threatening his parents in the event that they communicate with international bodies and anti-self-administration bodies, but they should be proud that their child will be a martyr for the freedom of the leader, the democratic nation, and the brothers of peoples.
2- They added that the same group also kidnapped the 14-year-old child Hussein Mustafa Musa (born 2007) from the village of Qijûma of Jenderes town during the month of March 2021, and subjected him, like the rest of the children, to ideological courses in the military headquarters in the village of Tal Sosin.
3- Likewise, another group of the Popular Protection Forces (YPG) kidnapped a young man from the Hamdoush family (baccalaureate student – high school) about 50 days ago, and his family may reserve publication now, and pursue the matter with the responsible authorities by virtue of the time of the exams within the next three months.
