An unknown fate of Kurdish civilians

The Human Rights Organization in Afrin said that the fate of two civilians from Afrin in Syrian Kurdistan, who was kidnapped by the military sector, is unknown until now.

Sources reported the organization that the fate of the citizen Farid Wahid Haji, a resident of the village of Khalil of Shih town, an olive oil merchant, and the owner of the exchange office on the Rajo town road is still unknown, as he was kidnapped on Sunday 25/10/2020 by members of the Military Police. While he was in the office without mentioning the reasons, he was only handing over a money order to one of the families whom the military police believe are loyal to the previous de facto authority of the Autonomous Administration and his refusal to pay the brotherhood and loyalty to them. She added: As a result, he was taken to an unknown destination, without knowing his fate until now.

The same source indicated that about three months ago (mid-January 2021), the Military Police summoned the Kurdish citizen Hana Abdo Ibrahim, from the old neighborhood of “Haret Al-Tal” of Jenderes town, to interrogate her on charges of dealing with the previous de facto authority, but her elderly mother Khalida Ibrahim insisted to accompany her daughter and infant daughter to the security headquarters, and their fate is still unknown so far.
