The Human Rights Organization in Afrin: Reliable sources said that the so-called Abu Amsha, leader of Sultan Shah’s militia, on April 11, 2021, seized by force of arms, 40 dunums of land owned by Kurdish civilians in the town of Shiye of Afrin city in Syrian Kurdistan.
The sources stated: Within the framework of the demographic change scheme in all ways, including pressure on the indigenous Kurds to give up their properties, the so-called Muhammad Al-Jassim, nicknamed Abu Amsha, commander of the so-called Sultan Suleiman Shah militia, who controls the town of Shiye and its villages on Sunday, on 11/04/2021, a number of the townspeople were forced, under threat by force of arms, to sign a contract for the sale and purchase of lands located near the health clinic of the town located on the road to the village of Qarmitlq.
They confirmed: Because they refused to sell, Abu Amsha replaced the contract by signing the waiver in favor of the municipality for the purpose of building a settlement on a total area estimated at about 40 dunums, consisting of about 200 houses, an area of 70 square meters, under the supervision of the Turkish Afad Organization and with Qatari funding, with the purpose of Settling Arab and Turkmen displaced persons who were brought in from different regions through regional and international agreements.
Citizens who were forced to sign the contracts are:
1 – Jamil Muhammad Haj Ibrahim Sheikho, who gave up an area of 6000 square meters, signed on behalf of his late father under threat by force of arms without power of attorney.
2 – Jamil Khalil Sheikho gave up an area of 9000 square meters and his son Farid signed the contract in his place.
3- Youssef Hannan Ma’mo gave up an area of 2000 square meters.
4- Sheikh Hussein, nicknamed Khoja, gave up an area of 7,000 square meters.
5 – Ahmed Mustafa, nicknamed Ehoyi Miste, he gave up an area of 7,000 square meters and the contract was signed by his grandson Abdullah.
6 – Rashid Suleiman, known as Rashkureh, gave up an area of 2000 square meters.
7- Muhammad Ali, from the Mistik family, gave up an area of 6000 square meters.
