The Human Rights Organization in Afrin: Despite officials of the de facto authority represented by the PYD Administration, providing the areas controlled by the Turkish occupation forces and the armed militias loyal to it, with crude oil and its derivatives via the Manbij crossing with the city of al-Bab “Aoun al-Dadat”, however, the artillery shelling did not stop between the two parties, but was renewed as the people of Afrin region protested against the ill-treatment of the de facto authority, and the failure to meet their demands to provide the necessary services (foodstuffs – fuel – medical – medicines) and return to their villages and towns.
Activists reported the Human Rights Organization in Afrin that the artillery shelling on Afrin, on Friday afternoon, on 30/04/2021, was renewed with four shells that fell near the highway known as “Mazot” causing material damage. During the past two days (27/04/2021), the Turkish occupation forces bombed several shells. Artillery was launched from its military headquarters in the village of Tilfe of Jenderes town, and from behind the Dersim hospital of Afrin city center targeting the village of Sumaqiya and Shahba Dam, and several other military sites belonging to the auxiliary forces loyal to the Syrian regime in Mar’naz and Tal Rif’at, and two civilian cars were targeted by a shell missile in the village of Basofan of Sherawa area on 27/04/2021, by unknown assailants, led to their burning.
