The Human Rights Organization in Afrin: There are various methods of pressure on the indigenous Kurdish population in the Afrin region in order to deport them in implementation of the Turkish occupation government’s policies to bring about demographic change.
Activists reported that more than a month ago, 14/4/2021, Mustafa Ahmed Miste, 58, from the village of Qastal Jindo of Shara town sold an electric generator to citizens of the city of Izaz, then, after a period of time when the family saw the generator and put it to work, the buyer claimed that it was stolen, and wanted to return it, but the seller refused that, and after verbal communication and the aggression of the two parties on each other, the citizen Mustafa used his weapon and fired shots at them. One of them was slightly injured, then he was taken to the hospital in Izaz to receive treatment, and the citizen Mustafa was subsequently arrested by the Al Jabha Al Shamiya militia members, and the problem between the two parties was solved by returning the generator and collecting its price by the citizens of Izaz.
Note that Mustafa Ahmed Miste lives alone in his house, and is subjected to harassment as any member of the indigenous Kurdish population in their villages is exposed.
