The Human Rights Organization in Afrin: Dramatic events are developing between the Syrian regime and the PYD administration loyal to it through the representatives of the two parties from the military forces, “the National Defense Forces – the pro-forces of “QSD”, which are linked to the goals sought by the two parties at the expense of the Kurdish areas (Qamishlo – Hasaka – Afrin) and their indigenous Kurdish population from displacement Demographic change, narrowing the screws and fighting them economically in securing a livelihood and directing their interests and eyes to the regional countries (Turkey – Kurdistan region) away from the crises and inhuman practices that they are carrying out from spreading strife and sectarian and ethnic strife as well as the economic blockade and preventing the entry of medicines and the failure to provide the basic material “bread”, fuel, foodstuffs, and infant formula in the areas inhabited by the Kurdish population, especially the neighborhoods of Aleppo and Shahba area, except for kidnapping civil society activists and attacking the headquarters of the Kurdish people’s representatives.
Thus, the level of agreement and understanding between the two parties reached a few days ago by using the Syrian regime’s QSD forces to disperse a demonstration of the regime’s supporters in the security square in Hasaka, and on Sunday, 31/01/2021, the regime returned to help again and used the Asayish forces of the PYD administration to disperse a demonstration of its supporters. The random shooting, killing three security personnel so far.
While the Syrian regime contributes to encouraging the Syrian Democratic Union Party (PYD) to hold forums and public meetings in the presence of representatives of the various Syrian governorates, with the aim of drawing attention to the previous agreements between them, and most importantly, diverting the course and the demands of the forcibly displaced Kurdish citizens detained in Shahba area to return to their villages and towns in the Afrin region and to give it a picture from one side without the other, namely, their rejection of the presence of the Turkish occupation forces, and with this prevention they contribute to the implementation of the projects and agendas of the Turkish occupation government from bringing about demographic change and settling Arabs and Turkmen instead of them and seizing their property and their lands.
We have previously touched on the need for the people of Afrin to return to their villages, restore their homes, properties and lands, prevent settlers from tampering with property, and show the facts that the actions and practices of the Syrian regime and the PYD administration loyal to it are no less than the actions and practices of the Turkish occupation government and armed militias affiliates to it and affiliated to the Syrian Interim Government and the Syrian National Coalition in achieving their goals against the Kurdish people in Syrian Kurdistan.
