The Human Rights Organization in Afrin: Since the invasion of the Turkish occupation forces, accompanied by the armed militias loyal to them, to the Afrin region, they have been using various means to displace the Kurdish indigenous population and kidnap them on false charges and arguments or without any reason.
Activists said that Turkish intelligence agents, on Monday, 02/01/2021, kidnapped the Kurdish citizen Muhammad Sheikh Muhammad, 48, from the village of Qara Tapa of Shara town, owner of the car sales office in Afrin, who sold a car to a customer from the office under a statutory contract. But the customer affixed a number to the car that resembles a Turkish car number and the sticker indicating that the car passed through the inspection (expert), therefore, it has nothing to do with the matter according to official documents except for the purpose of material extortion and ransom collection. He was taken to the security headquarters in Afrin city center, without knowing his fate until now.
They also said that an unidentified group, using a white Santafi car, at 2:00 pm on Saturday 30/01/2021, kidnapped the Kurdish citizen Ahmed Abdul Hannan Khalil, from the village of Maeriske of Shara town, while he was in his facility (Al Berin Factory) for the purpose of material extortion, collecting the ransom, and taking him to an unknown destination without mentioning the reasons, and his fate is still unknown until now.
