A Kurdish citizen was shot by Al-Amshat militia and kidnapped a woman and her infant in Afrin

The Human Rights Organization in Afrin: Within the security chaos witnessed in the areas under the control of Turkey and the armed factions and groups, the militiamen of the factions continue their violations against Kurdish civilians in the Afrin region in Syrian Kurdistan. A human rights organization in Afrin today, February 16, 2021, documented a number of violations, including the shooting of live bullets at Kurdish workers, and the kidnapping a woman with her baby in the city center.

Activists said: For more than ten days, a group of Kurdish workers from the village of Hekije of Jenderes town, went to work in clearing olive trees in the area called “Sher Shap” located near the Syrian-Turkish border, owned by Silvana Hassan Known as the Hassino family, from the village of Qarmitlq of Shiye town, despite their daily passage at the checkpoint and leaving their identification cards (ID) with the gunmen.

They added: The militia members of Sultan Suleiman Shah al-Amshat, led by Muhammad al-Jassim, nicknamed Abu Amsha, on Sunday 14/02/2021, shot them while working on charges of smuggling and the field is aligned to the border fence, wounding one of the citizens (Abdo Hanan Tana, 19 years old) with two bullets in the leg, the rest, whose number ranged between 12-14 workers, was kidnapped and taken to the security headquarters in the center of Shiye town, and then transferred to the center of Jenderes town. The organization continued: We have received the names of some of them, and they are:

1- Aref Rashid Hassan, 33, whose mother is Jamila.
2- Muhammad Sheikh Hanan Sheikh Mustafa, 45 years old, his mother is Fatima
3- Walid Muhammad Miho, 50 years old, his mother is Alifa


4 – Farho Hanan Tana.
5- Abdo Hanan Tana. Who is the injured

They indicated: Due to the control of the Al-Waqqas Brigade militia over the village of Hekije, they took the injured to a medical center for treatment. On Monday, 15/02/2021, all of them were released, and the injured person was still bedridden.

In the context: Both military and civil police present in the bus station (Garage) in Afrin, on Monday noon, 15/02/2021, kidnapped citizen Hevin Bakr Musa, about 30 years old, from the people of Kobani, while registering the names of the passengers, and accusing her of dealing with the Previous administration and compulsory service, and being taken to an unknown destination without knowing her fate until now.

The same sources added: She works in the sale of used clothes – ballet – (married to a citizen with special needs Ahmed Bakr Moussa in Gawanda village – mother of three children) accompanied by a 6-month-old baby and no information about her until the moment according to the aforementioned organization.
