The Human Rights Organization in Afrin: Reliable sources reported the Human Rights Organization in Afrin that the inhumane actions and practices of the armed militiamen, affiliated with the “Syrian National Army,” can only be described as crimes against people, stones and trees.
The sources added that an armed group consisting of three men, led by Abu Rama, belonging to the Al-Hussein faction of the Ahrar al-Sharqiya militia, who controlled the village of Kûra of Rajo town, on Saturday 06/03/2021, attacked the house of the late Omar Battal Habash, which is home to his family of four (A wife and two daughters, one of the girls is disabled – a young man) demanding that they want to live in their home by force and try to attack the only young man who supports the family, threatening them with weapons, and uttering obscene words against them.
They also added that the shepherd settlers in a number of villages in the Mabata town (Shaytana – Sariya – Habou) for a long time, with the complicity of armed militia elements, are grazing their livestock in the olive fields and vineyards belonging to the Kurdish people, despite their complaints against settlers in front of the Military Police, however, they are trying to justify their heinous acts, without taking the necessary legal measures against them and deterring them, while imposing a financial fine on Kurdish shepherds while grazing livestock in the fields of their relatives.
On the other hand, sources also said that the militia members of Al-Mu’tasim Billah who are controlling the village of Habou cut down more than 100 olive trees belonging to a Kurdish citizen Ramzi Rashid Agid.
