The Human Rights Organization in Afrin: Reliable sources said that the Russian military forces withdrew abruptly from some points in the town of Tal Rif’at and the military point in the village of Kashtahar, on Tuesday morning13/4/2021, and headed to villages (Harbal – Al-Wahshiya), which is under the control of the Syrian regime, this left a state of panic and fear among the forcibly displaced of Afrin people, who were detained in the Shahba area in general and the town of Tal Rif’at in particular. This is what brought to mind the withdrawal of the Russian forces from the town of Kafr Janna of Shara town, before the entry of the Turkish occupation forces and the armed militias loyal to them to the Afrin region.
Sources also said that this withdrawal also constituted the falsity of the ability of the auxiliary forces loyal to the Syrian regime called “Afrin Liberation Forces” to defend the forcibly Kurdish displaced, and the withdrawal in itself constitutes a tool for pressure from the Russian forces on the de facto authority represented by the PYD administration, with the aim of handing them over to other areas in what is known as the eastern Euphrates and the attempt to regain control of the Syrian regime over more areas threatened by the control of the international coalition forces, and what changes may be achieved on the ground as a result of the talks that had taken place previously, and which may take place within days under international auspices between the parties.
The sources confirmed that military reinforcements from the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps “Shiite militias” and the National Defense Forces loyal to the Syrian regime entered Shahba area.
