The Human Rights Organization in Afrin: On the occasion of the celebrations of the Syrian National Coalition and the Syrian Interim Government, commemorating the evacuation of April 17th, and using the occasion to rally the masses around their march and achievements that they presented to the Syrian people in the liberated areas, and the need to point out that these achievements or frustrations are individual or collective and systematically, and as long as the Syrian National Coalition is represented by the president and his two deputies, they declare that they are legitimate representatives of the Syrian people with all its components in the so-called “liberated” areas that are under the control of the Free Syrian National Army and the “armed militias” loyal to the Turkish occupation government, thus, they must answer some of the questions of the Kurdish street in the Afrin region:
Can the head of the Syrian National Coalition and his deputies, recover the basalt lion that was stolen from the historic village of Ain Dara about two years ago, on November 2019, and open an investigation into the case in order to hold accountable the thieves and criminals who contributed to its transfer to an unknown destination until now, despite the assurances with its presence in Turkish territory.
Can the head of the Syrian National Coalition and his deputies ask the so-called Restitution of Rights and Grievances Committee to issue a list of the names of citizens whose problems have been resolved and to restore their homes and lands in every aspect, from the hands of armed militias and settlers?
Can the head of the Syrian National Coalition and his deputies ask the security authorities the responsibility for the “military and civil police” for providing security and stability to issue a list of the names of terrorists who were arrested and referred to the judiciary for carrying out more than a hundred bombings in the Afrin region during the past year, and nearly 35 bombings during the past months of this year?
Can the head of the Syrian National Coalition and his deputies ask the Syrian Interim Government and the responsible security authorities to clarify and explain the number and names of the armed militia members “Free Syrian National Army” as a result of armed clashes between each other and that for the general public, and explain the reasons for these clashes “infighting” and inter-conflict, and finally, are they considered to be martyrs of the Syrian revolution, your “revolution” that calls for freedom and dignity?
Can the head of the Syrian National Coalition and his deputies ask the Syrian Interim Government and the concerned authorities for an explanation of the reasons for cutting down fruit, olive and forest trees in the Afrin region by armed militia members and settlers, and how many of them were brought to the judiciary to receive a fair penalty for what they committed?
Can the head of the Syrian National Coalition and his deputies ask the Syrian Interim Government and the security authorities to clarify the names of armed gangs that kidnap male and female Kurdish citizens in the so-called “liberated” areas?
Can the head of the Syrian National Coalition and his deputies, abide by the pledges they made publicly to secure the return of the Kurdish people of the so-called “liberated” areas to their homes and restore their property, and how many people have returned and regained their home and lands in accordance with those pledges?
