The Human rights organization in Afrin: According to local sources that fires, on Wednesday evening, 05/26/2021, broke out in several areas in the Afrin region the most important of which were in the forested forests extending between the town of Shiye and the village of Ramadana of Jenderes town.
The same sources added that the fires spread to large areas due to the ruggedness of the area and the delay of the arrival of civil defense teams and a breeze of wind, and despite attempts to extinguish the fire by isolating the area, the affected area was estimated at 20 hectares, and armed settlers set fire to the mountain of the village of Haj Hasna to benefit from it and sell it as firewood.
