The armed militias of the Syrian opposition

The Human Rights Organization in Afrin: It was no longer a means for the leaders of the armed militias from the seven outrages (crimes), unless they were committed against the indigenous Kurdish population in the Kurdish region of Afrin.

1- citizen Muhammad Alo, 37 years old, from the Kella village of Bulbul town, on Saturday 15/05/2021, was severely beaten with metal wires and water pipes in a brutal manner, by the militia members of the Faylaq Al Majd, after the citizen Muhammad Alo’s request from the faction to intervene in resolving the dispute between him and one of the settler shepherds who uttered obscene words and branded his weapon threatening him with death, as a result of preventing him from grazing his livestock in the yard of his house, except that their interference was in favor of the settler because they received “milk and cheese” from him without a fee.

2- Elements of the Siqour Al Shamal militia led by Abu Abdo, who control the village of Gamrouk of Mabata town are forcing the citizens of the village, “young among them,” to work without wage “forced labor” and treating them as slaves, and forcing them to harvest, pick grape leaves, and serve the fields and orchards. Note that during the past month, on 11/04/2021, we have indicated that more than 60 tractors have been seized from Gamrouk and Arab Sheikho villages, due to the owners’ refusal to cultivate the land without wages.
