The Human Rights Organization in Afrin: 1- The people of Bulbul town, residing in the city of Afrin, whose numbers are estimated at about 135 – 140 Kurdish families, are still waiting for the response of the so-called “Restitution of Rights and Grievances” committee, who pledged during the month of September last year 2020, to return their homes, which were seized by armed militia elements, the Free Syrian ”and their settler relatives, after the committee’s proposal, to conclude lease contracts for a period of three months, and with the end of the contract period for more than five months, and before the blessed Eid al-Fitr, the so-called Araba Idris, the leader of the so-called Sultan Murad militia (the nephew of the Minister of Defense in the Syrian Interim Government) contacted the families and threatening anyone who claims to have their home in the town to be killed instead of helping restore rights to their owners.
2- The fire broke out in the agricultural lands and olive fields surrounding the villages of Kalote – Burj Al Qas, on Tuesday 11/05/2021, as a result of the Turkish artillery bombing, and the winds helped to continue the fires until Thursday, 13/05/2021, and the eradication of a number of fields of olive trees.
3- The elements of the Hamzat militia, who control the village of Kimar, about two weeks ago, set fire to agricultural lands and olive fields, whose area was estimated at about 70-75 hectares, belonging to the Kurdish citizens in the village of Barade of Sherwa area, under the pretext of infiltration of members of the auxiliary forces loyal to the Syrian regime, ”Afrin Liberation Forces” and shooting at the shepherds from the village of Mayase, and due the incident the citizen Haj Isa was hit by a gunshot while grazing cattle, and the elements of the Hamzat militia stole 110 heads of his livestock and drove them to the village, the they slaughtered a number of them and distributed them to the settlers as war booty and divided the rest among its members, the they also returned again, just before Eid, by attacking the shepherds in the village of Mayase to steal cattle, however, the people of the village confronted them and killed one of their members and the others fled without being able to retrieve the body.
